Mule-Hide Products was originally founded in Chicago in 1906 by the Lehon Company. The brand quickly earned a massive reputation throughout the mid-1900s for manufacturing incredibly tough, long-lasting roofing materials and shingles. The quirky mule logo and slogan were intentionally created to symbolize the supreme strength, stubborn durability, and flexibility of their product lineup.
