Lewis H. Larsen was known as a cowboy, artist, poet, entrepreneur, and statesman. He knew the west as few men did. He rode in many saddles- including those of cowboy and state senator. Larsen was a competent artist with a mind for business. He knew he could sell his oil paintings in thousands if they were made into postcards. This “Dude” Larsen original postcard bundle is comprised of 5 of his designs that were printed on 9” x 6.5" cards; 3 horses and 2 cowboys, which date between 1930’s-1950’s.
