An early 1900's John Deere Lapel Pin. Featuring the iconic deer and plow.
Although John Deere was founded in 1837 in Grand Detour, IL, by 1848 it was moved to Moline IL (a quick 20 minutes from our Le Claire IA Store).
It didn't take long for the company to bloom into the farming and harvesting icon they are now.
This pin was among the first promotional and advertisement items created by John Deere to increase brand recognition.
