What's black, blue, and got flames all over? This Beetle Tether Car of course! Since the early 20's, tether cars have been a popular racing model car powered by a miniature internal combustion engine. The car would get "tethered" to a central post around a racetrack and the engine would be lit with a spark to see how fast it could wind around the track! Half the fun in tether car racing is that the "driver" has no control over the speed or steering and the winner is left to fate...or best engineering! Sold in as-is condition, some minor wear can be seen to the flame stickers attached to the car. No noticeable or major damage is evident.
