FINZER & BROTHERS METAL CLOCK

$3,500.00

Made of iron metalwork with wood backing, this piece serves as a memorial to the tobacco industry. Hailing from Louisville, KY., the Finzer Brothers spearheaded one of the most profitable tobacco companies in the United States the late 1800’s.  The Finzer & Brothers clock would have served as one of the final pieces of memorabilia of their company before a fire destroyed their factory in the mid 1900’s. While the hands no longer keep time and the clock face is stained with tobacco-like coloring, the clock remains in fine condition. A few minor nicks and cracks can be seen in the metal around the clock face. All parts, plaques, and paper remain in original condition.
